Congrats on the opportunity!
While most people would consider a gift card a risky relationship move on Valentine's Day, I think spending wisely is just as important as telling someone how you feel. And since your segment will air the day before Valentine's Day, giving viewers a few convenient gift ideas would be helpful.
Using my signature approach, you can show viewers how deliver a gift card and still be romantic. I'd love to send you the following ideas to show:
- Jewels. Get your Valentine a gift card to the jewelry store and a candy necklace. Tell her you picked out one necklace you like and wanted her to be able to pick out a necklace she enjoys as well. She'll love the creativity and get to pick out jewelry that fits her taste.
- A Banana Split. I'll send you a gift card to the ice cream store packaged up with supplies to make a banana split. Plus I'll include one of my free downloadable cards that says, "I'm bananas for you."
- Heartburn. Love this one for the guys. Get your man a package of his favorite antacid and attach a gift card to his favorite restaurant. Tell him, "My heart burns for your Valentine."
I have several other suggestions on my site. But like I said, would be happy to package them up and send to you to showcase.
